Inviting your Guests

If you want to make sure guests keep the date free for your wedding it is a good idea to send out save the date cards as soon as you have confirmed your wedding date, maybe 6 months to a year before your wedding, to give people a chance to book the day in their diaries.  Especially if it is on a week day, it will give them time to book the day off work or make travel arrangements.

Prices range from 75p – £1.00 each

You can see a selection of my design on this website to give you some ideas, remember the colour of the ribbon or background cards and decoration can be changed to match in with your colour scheme or the embellishments can be changed to tie in with a theme ie. Butterflies, flowers or diamante buckles.  You can have as much input to make the designs truly yours for that personal touch.

Prices range from £1.50 for a simple flat card with ribbon detail, £1.95 for a traditional folded card and £2.20 for the pocket style.

These can be the same design as for the day invitations but on a smaller card.  Or you can have something simpler, maybe a flat post card size with a coloured ribbon bow – the choice is yours.

Prices range from £1.30 for a simple flat card, £1.75 for traditional folded cards, £1.95 for a pocket style

You will often find your venue will need to know numbers for catering purposes so including reply cards with your invitations makes it easier for your guests to let you know if they can make it to your special day.  It also gives you the opportunity to ask for details of any special dietary requirements and, if you are offering a choice of menu, this can also be included.

Prices range from 75p – £1.00 each

You may find you need to give your guest’s details of directions to the Church/Reception Venue, accommodation details or details of your gift list.  This information can all be included in a booklet or extra insert sheet to pop in with your invitation.
